He graduated from Atat\u00fcrk Anatolian High School in Be\u015fikta\u015f, Istanbul, before receiving medical education at Marmara University’s Faculty of Medicine. Having completed his medical specialty in urology at the Department of Urology of the Faculty of Medicine at Marmara University, Dr. F. Fatih \u00d6nol attended the clinical observership program at the Department of Urology of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, the US, between 2001 and 2002. He went through the general surgery rotation at the same university between March and June 2002. In 2003, he worked as the clinical observer at the Department of Urology of the University of Pennsylvania (UPENN) Hospital and the Department of Pediatric Urology of the Children\u2019s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), located in Philadelphia, the US.
Between December 2005 and November 2006, he worked as a urology specialist at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine Foundation’s Private Academic Hospital. Between November 2006 and September 2010, he served as a specialist physician at Sakarya Research and Training Hospital of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey.<\/p>

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fikret Fatih \u00d6nol has been working as a faculty member in urology and training assistants since September 2010. In 2012, he successfully passed the exam and was awarded the title of associate professor of urology. He can speak English fluently and is the holder of the Diploma Equivalency Certificate by the US Educational Committee for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) and the Fellow of the European Board of Urology (FEBU) Diploma. Assoc. Prof. Dr. F. Fatih \u00d6nol has been regularly attending the American Urological Association’s (AUA) congresses held annually in various cities across the US to deliver speeches in his area of expertise since 2001. He is also a member of the American Urological Association (AUA) and the International Continence Society (ICS).<\/p>
